
Cultural anthropologist Robert J. Morais explores the idea of an AI ethos in a new essay for Public Anthropologist. He focuses on storytelling in AI and posits the existence of an artificial ethos underlying some of its narratives. Morais suggests that as our reliance on AI grows, we should be aware of AI’s artificial ethos and take seriously its cultural implications.
